At the Social Media Week in Rome, held from 7 to 11 February 2011, Time&Mind was present with a meeting entitled " Digital Ecosystems: a holistic approach to the network ". Social Media Week is an important industry event, connecting people, content and conversations around emerging trends in social and mobile media and its aim is to create relationships through social communication and open collaboration. The event was held on Thursday 11 February at the Lost & Found studio and the panel presented, unfortunately with very limited time, some essential themes to understand the concept of the Digital Ecosystem and its application and adaptation in some diversified cases of business success ( Easy Parking ADR and ABIEvents ).
These are the guests who spoke: Massimo Giordani (CEO Time&Mind); Armando Uruguay Mobile Number List Giorgi (Client Manager Time&Mind); Marco Murgia (Project Manager jr Time&Mind); Emanuele Lancia (Conference Manager ABIEventi); Geronimo Emili (War on Cash). In a serene convivial atmosphere, we spoke, among other things, about the progressive growth that internet users have had in recent years with particular attention to the forecasts which show how the number of users who access the network through mobile access will exceed by 2014 traditional ones (home networks with fixed access). It is therefore clear that no development of a digital project can ignore its presence on a mobile application, under penalty of exclusion from the market.
But let's go back to the concept of Digital Ecosystem , introduced by Time&Mind for the first time in Italy already in 2005. This methodology is based on a holistic vision of the network which finds scientific foundations in the most recent theories on complex systems and on the development of scale, like the Internet. A digital ecosystem , to put it simply, translates into as dense a network of interconnected web pages as possible . These pages coexist next to each other, forming a close web of relationships in mutual interaction , competition and correlation. Systems of this type are also called complex adaptive systems , whose characteristic is that of having a physical behavior that can bring out self-organizing structures, thus increasing their competitiveness compared to other less efficient structures. Search engines appreciate links because they represent a sign of "credibility" of the site being linked to.
